CONGRATULATIONS to the 9 students who were selected for MS All State Band!! There were 563 auditions from 82 schools across the state of SD. Also a huge congratulations to the 3 students who were selected for MS All State Jazz Band! These students will represent BRMS in Mitchell, SD in February & March where they will have the opportunity to perform among the best middle school musicians in the state!

Thank you to Promising Futures for taking our 8th grade girls basketball team to SDSU to experience a game in action. Students got to meet players, visit practice facilities, enjoy lunch and an ice cream treat! We love these experiences for our students.

Sixth graders participated in a toy drive to benefit the Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety throughout the month of December. Over 150 toys, games and stuffed animals were collected and donated just in time for Christmas! We are so proud of all of you for giving back to the community.
Bison STEM is off to a great start! December was very productive and fun! We have explored CAD, Coding and Engineering & Design with STARBASE South Dakota. Special thanks for our BRMS and district staff for helping judge and letting our students sell their houses!

Staff participated in fun activities during the last staff meeting of 2024. Teams had to put together gingerbread houses blindfolded and create a tree out of paper behind their back. Team 7-3 took the win for the best gingerbread house.
