Memorial Middle School is proud to announce the recipients of the latest Challenger CORE Value Awards. Five students were recently recognized by their teachers for consistently exemplifying the school's guiding principles.

Congratulations to Brady, Aubree, Ayla, Aaralyn, and Angel on this well-deserved honor. These students serve as positive role models for their peers by demonstrating Community, Acting Responsibly, Respect, and Excellence in and out of the classroom. We are proud to have them in our Mustang community.

Every Friday, Mrs. Kortan hosts a "24" math game in the hallway for students. Participants who can solve the math puzzle win a Jolly Rancher. The weekly event has become increasingly popular, drawing a large crowd of students eager to test their math skills in a fun and engaging way.

Today our Mustangs completed the first fire drill of the year, and they did an excellent job! We are excited to support The Barrel House's all-day Hungry Hearts Fundraiser benefiting the Angel Fund, which helps ensure every student in the Sioux Falls School District has access to a meal. Come out and enjoy some great food, fun activities (dunk tanks, bouncy house, axe throwing, and more!), and make a difference for our students! Hope to see you there!
