In South Dakota today, there are individuals and families who find themselves without enough money to make ends meet, let alone purchase food. At the same time, there are also families, organizations, and businesses that have extra time and treasures to share. Feeding South Dakota exists to transfer that abundance to those in need. Help us help others by donating to our food drive starting next Monday!

We are thankful to participate in our election process for Memorial community members! Precinct voting will be available at Memorial from 7a-7p today. For more information on voting in Sioux Falls, check out the city's website: https://t.ly/KF7w

No athletics competitions this week, but basketball practice is officially underway! Stay tuned in the next weeks to see where to cheer on your Memorial Mustangs! #MMSMustangPride

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for October! These students exemplify the Mustang Way. Thanks for being a great part of our school community!

And with a blink of an eye, we are already a quarter way through the 2022-2023 school year! The second quarter is here, and it’s a busy one! While this time of year tends to get chaotic, it’s important to remember how crucial student attendance is. Chronic absenteeism is a serious problem in South Dakota - a problem SFSD is committed to improving. Missing just two days a month can hurt a student’s grades and increase their chance of dropping out. Make sure your student is on the path to a bright future – and that starts in the classroom!
