It's time for our first Library Fine WIPEOUT competition update! 🔎📖 With the largest percentage reduction in fines, 6th grade is in first, followed by 7th grade second, and 8th grade in third place. Keep returning your lost books to close the gap & get the competition rollin'!

📌 HAPPENING TOMORROW! (3/27)…
Families of incoming 9th–12th grade students, whether your child is new to high school activities or a returning participant, make plans to attend High School Activities Night on Thursday, March 27, at 6 PM at your child’s school.
This event is a great opportunity to get important information about athletics and fine arts programs, meet coaches and directors, and ensure your student is ready to participate. We look forward to seeing you there!

Let's find those lost library books & lose fines instead! 🔎📖 The Whittier Library is hosting a grade-level competition now until Friday, April 11th. The grade with the largest percentage reduction in library fines will have all their remaining Whittier library fines WIPED OUT!

Congratulations to March Student of the Month & Whittier Way recipients! Students nominated for #WhittierWay communicate respectfully to both teachers and peers. Student of the Month nominees strive for accuracy and always look for ways to improve and do their best. 🎉

Who's ready to finally check out the Wolverine Showcase on Monday?! Let's support our talented students (and staff!)! Siouxland Libraries will be bringing a fun craft project to the Whittier Library before school on Tuesday. And if you missed conferences last week, plan on stopping by Whittier this Tuesday after school. Don't forget -- Friday there won't be school, but it is Whittier's night at Skate City! #WeekAtWhittier

The Wolverine Showcase has been rescheduled for Monday, March 10th at 5:30pm. We hope that you can attend to support our students! Doors will open for audience members at 5:10pm. Tickets are $5 (age 5 & under free).
We're so excited to give our students the opportunity to showcase what they've been working on and share it with you! Thank you all for your flexibility, and we hope to see you at the show!

Track & Field and Soccer sign-ups are taking place until March 13th! Any 7/8 Grade Girl or Boy interested in Track & Field should sign-up at the main gym before, during, or after school. Same goes for any 8th Grade Girl or Boy interested in Soccer. Questions? See Mr. Janisch.

Due to the weather, we unfortunately have to postpone the Wolverine Showcase. All students must go home immediately after school. We will announce tomorrow when the new date of the Wolverine Showcase will be. Stay tuned!

Happy Social Worker Week!
In the Sioux Falls School District, every student's journey is unique. For many of the kids we serve, our school social workers are there every step of the way! Whether offering a listening ear, connecting families to resources, or advocating for students' well-being, their dedication ignites hope and creates lasting impact in our schools.
This year's theme, Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact, is a perfect reflection of how our social workers bring people together to create brighter futures for students.
THANK YOU to our incredible school social workers for your compassion and care!
